It’s mah birthday!

And I’m enjoying every minute.

My eldest kid is wearing his fancy shirt and tie to day care today “because it’s mommy’s birthday!”, I got to open my present this morning in the bathroom as the kids fought over who should give it to me, my co-workers have showered me with candy and yummy cake, and I feel pretty great about not having any kind of party tonight and going out to dinner with my husband and two of our best friends instead.

It’s a good day.

Oh, and here’s the fabulous shirt that my husband and kids gave me! Who says men can’t take hints? And yes, it’s taken in the bathroom, in case you wondered.
